Cell Membrane is not fit for Chief posistion

The Cell Membrane is also not a good choice for the Chief Organelle because there are a lot of problems that can occur if the cell membrane is not working properly. The function of the cell membrane is to allow what can be transported in and out. So the job of the cell membrane is to regulate what comes in and out of the cell. So imagine that your cell membrane is not working properly; if this happens there are many diseases and defects that can occur. Some of the diseases that are know if the cell membrane does not work is Cystic Fibrosis, diabetes, and other diseases. And these diseases happen because the cell membrane is not working properly most likely because the membrane proteins are not functioning properly so it is not regulating what is going inside and outside of the cell. Because the protein is malfunctioning and cell membrane not regulating of what is going in and out, dangerous pathogens can enter the cell like viruses by attaching to the protein receptors. The job of the organelle is to protect the cell but sometimes it allows harmful substances so it does not deserve the Chief Organelle position.  So this shows that the Cell Membrane is not the right choice for Chief Organelle.
